Two Worlds, One Journey
The Start of Us
Years ago, we first became friends through a shared circle, spending time together on snowboarding trips, at concerts, and during countless good times with friends. Life eventually brought us to a similar place, each coming out of long-term relationships and stepping into a new chapter. When we crossed paths again, something felt different. What began as friendship quickly turned into something more, and before long, we were inseparable.
The Heart of Our Story
Next came Portland: the chapter of food trucks, thrift shops, breweries, neighborhood exploring, and plenty of Pacific Northwest adventures. It was the place where we really grew together while figuring out life in a new city. We spent our time exploring everything from local spots around Portland to snowboarding on Mount Hood.
And yes, this chapter even included a slow dance in the parking lot at Timberline Lodge, which still feels like one of those perfectly random and sweet moments that could only be ours.
The Place We Call Home
Eventually, Ryan’s job brought us to Denver and we started our Colorado chapter. We spent the first year living in the city, exploring Red Rocks, hiking, snowboarding, and taking advantage of every excuse we could find to get into the mountains. We kept our sense of adventure alive by journeying to France, Italy, Switzerland, and India, where we visited the Taj Mahal. After that first year in Denver, we moved a little south of the city, bought our FIRST house, and discovered that one of our shared hobbies is taking on endless home projects. Somewhere between the travel, mountain days, and house projects, Denver became home.
